Motus Percussion Duo is a percussion duo based in Oslo, Norway, featuring the talents of Magnus Lille Haugen and Ola Sønstebø. The duo began their journey together through a talent program at the Norwegian Academy of Music, where they discovered a shared passion for percussion. This connection led to their decision to perform together, and they have continued to develop as musicians ever since.

Currently, Magnus and Ola are pursuing their Bachelor's degrees in Classical Percussion at the Norwegian Academy of Music. This academic path allows them to refine their skills and deepen their understanding of music, guiding them as they explore the rich possibilities within percussion.

The name Motus, meaning "movement" in Latin, reflects the core of their artistic vision. For them, percussion is not just about playing instruments; it’s about conveying energy, emotion, and storytelling through rhythm and sound.
